Description
Description
Fitting a white London horizontal column radiator 600mm high with 46 tubes takes some planning, as a double panel of steel columns at this length is a heavy thing to hang. Leporce rates it at 3284 watts, or 11209 BTU, at dT70, which points it towards rooms that lose a lot of heat: a big lounge, or a bedroom with two or more outside walls.
Wall and width
Brackets for a large double column radiator need to go into solid masonry, or into timber noggins if the wall is a stud partition, so find out what your wall is made of first. Check the exact overall width before you mark out the brackets or move any pipework.
Specification
- Height of the columns: 600mm
- Paint finish: white gloss
- Columns: 46 tubes, double panel, running horizontally
- dT70 heat output: 3284 watts (11209 BTU)

Set 3284 watts against the room's calculated heat loss, and make sure the wall can carry the weight, before you place the order.
