Description
Description
A radiator with as much output as the white Rome double column radiator 600 x 1400 needs some form of control, or it can leave a room too warm: Leporce rates it at 3153 watts (10762 BTU) at dT70. Its 48 steel tubes run horizontally across 1400mm of wall in a double panel, 600mm high, in white gloss.
A thermostatic radiator valve lets the radiator slow down once the room reaches the temperature you set, instead of running at full output all the time. That is useful in a living room heated mainly by one large radiator, and in a bedroom where a lower setting is often wanted at night. A manual valve is simpler but leaves the room temperature to you. This horizontal column radiator is listed for living rooms and bedrooms on central heating.
