Kartell Plugs & Wastes

Kartell plugs and wastes take care of the outlet under a basin or bath, and 18 of them are listed on this page. They run from basin wastes and bottle traps to a Basin Overflow Cover, in finishes that include Chrome, Black, Brushed Nickel and Raw Brass (concealed), so the waste can follow the taps. K-Vit is the range named among them.

Most of the choice is basin wastes. The Slotted and Unslotted Clicker Basin Wastes open and close with a press of the plug. Alongside them sit a Slotted CP Push Button Basin Waste, a Slotted CP Easy Cleaning Basin Waste with Remove Click-clack and a Universal Basin Waste.

Slotted or unslotted comes first. If your basin has an overflow hole, pick a slotted basin waste so water can drain through the overflow; a basin with no overflow takes an unslotted one.

Below the basin, the bottle trap options include Minimalist Round and Minimalist Square designs and a Round model, each sold with an extension tube, one of them 400mm. Measure from the waste outlet to the pipe in the wall so the trap reaches. For a freestanding bath there is a Freestanding Bath Click Clack Waste; compare its specification with the waste hole in the bath.
