Britocean Black Matt Shower Heads

A black matt ceiling mounted shower head has to be planned before the ceiling is closed up, so this page of eight Britocean heads is worth looking at early in a bathroom project. Every example here is a ceiling mounted overhead shower in Black Matt.

The eight sizes

Four titles give one figure (200mm, 250mm, 300mm or 400mm), and four give two, at 200x200mm, 250x250mm, 300x300mm and 400x400mm, such as the 400x400mm black matt overhead shower. Each product page shows the shape and full dimensions.

Sizing to the tray

Hold the chosen size against the tray below. A head that is too wide for the enclosure sends water onto the glass, while one that is too small means stepping about to stay under it. Allow for the door swing as well as the screen.

Matching the rest

Black matt carries through to other Britocean fittings. The head can be fed by one of the Britocean black matt thermostatic shower valves, or you can choose a complete black matt thermostatic shower mixer set from the same maker.

Before ordering, mark where the head will hang, confirm the supply pipe can be run through the ceiling joists to that point, and check the valve has a spare outlet for an overhead shower.
