Black Taps

Black taps from Kartell and Britocean make up the 18 products in this finish, for the basin and the bath. The examples come from two ranges, Curve Nero and Fiuto Nero, and Kolt and GRACE are listed as well.

At the basin, Curve Nero offers a black mono basin mixer and a mini mono version. Fiuto Nero has a mono basin mixer with waste, a hi rise mono basin mixer and a black wall mounted basin mixer tap. A mini mixer is usually chosen for a compact cloakroom basin, and a hi rise model is meant for a basin that sits on top of the counter. The wall mounted tap leaves the basin free of tap holes, so its supply pipes have to be in the wall before it is tiled.

For the bath, each of the two ranges has a bath filler and a black bath shower mixer tap. Fiuto Nero adds a free standing bath shower mixer, which stands on the floor beside the tub rather than on its rim.

Before you order, check how many tap holes the basin or bath deck has, and measure from the rim to where the spout will sit. Check whether a waste comes with the tap, and remember that a free standing mixer needs its pipes brought up through the floor.
