Jaquar Chrome Thermostatic Shower Valves

Two Florentine Aquamax mixers stand out among the 15 Jaquar chrome thermostatic shower valves here, because their titles describe them as exposed. They come in 2 outlet and 3 outlet versions.

An exposed mixer is fixed to the face of the wall, with the body on show, so it can suit a room where the tiling is already done or where an older surface valve is being replaced. For the other models the titles do not say how they are fitted, so look at each listing before deciding.

Florentine and Florentine Prime are separate ranges. Florentine Prime Aquamax is offered with 1, 2 or 3 outlets, so one design can cover anything from a single fitting to three. The other examples are:

• Alive, with 2 and 3 outlets
• Kubix Aquamax, 2 outlets
• Kubix Prime Aquamax, 3 outlets
• Laguna Aquamax, 2 outlets

Opal Prime is listed among the ranges too.

Each outlet supplies one fitting, so a Jaquar thermostatic shower with an overhead head and a handset needs at least 2 outlets. Count yours, check the dimensions against the wall, and plan the pipe runs with your installer.
