Chrome Toilet Roll Holders

Open, flapped or standard: the 10 chrome toilet roll holders on this page come from Kartell, Jaquar and Artize, and the shape of the holder matters as much as the maker.

The Artize VIC Toilet Roll Holder with Flap has a cover over the roll. Kartell's Astley comes two ways, as the Astley Open Toilet Roll Holder and as a standard Astley Toilet Roll Holder, and an open holder makes changing the roll quick. Other Kartell designs are the K-Vit Premium, Plan and Pure holders.

Jaquar lists four. There is a plain Jaquar Toilet Roll Holder, a Continental Toilet Paper Holder, and two Kubix Prime pieces, one called a toilet paper holder and the other a toilet roll holder. The titles alone don't explain how those two Kubix Prime models differ, so compare their photos and dimensions.

Since all of these are chrome, the finish is settled. Write down the range of whichever holder appeals, and use it to look for a towel ring or rail in the same design.

Before ordering, decide where it will go so it is within easy reach of the toilet, and check the wall can take screw fixings. For more designs from one maker, see Kartell toilet roll holders. Rings and bars in this finish are on chrome towel rail and ring.
