Description
Description
Heat pumps run radiators cooler than a gas boiler usually does, which matters when reading the 1603 watts (5472 BTU) quoted for this anthracite Rome horizontal radiator at dT70. That figure is measured with the water on average 70 degrees warmer than the room air, and at lower flow temperatures any radiator gives out less.
The radiator itself is a Leporce double panel column design, 400mm high and roughly a metre wide, with 34 steel tubes. Leporce puts it forward for living rooms and bedrooms, and at 400mm tall it can go beneath a window or a run of shelving. On a boiler running at higher temperatures, the dT70 figure is a closer guide.
