Description
Description
Adding a radiator to an extension or a knocked-through room puts extra demand on the heating system, and the anthracite Rome double radiator 500 x 1600 adds 3035 watts (10357 BTU) at dT70. Leporce spreads 54 steel tubes over its 1600mm width in a double panel, while the height stays at 500mm.
Before choosing it, find out whether the boiler has spare capacity for the extra load and whether the pipework feeding the new space can carry it. A heating engineer can confirm both, and can work out the room's heat loss at the same time. The anthracite finish is a dark grey, so this long horizontal column radiator will be a visible feature on a light wall.
