Description
Description
Room heat calculators give their answer in BTU or in watts, and the black Rome double radiator 500 x 1600 is listed in both: 10357 BTU, or 3035 watts, at dT70. That makes it simple to set against the figure worked out for a living room or bedroom.
A dT70 figure is measured with the radiator's average water temperature 70 degrees higher than the air in the room. On a low-temperature system, such as many heat pump installations, the real output falls below that figure, so allow for it when sizing.
The radiator itself is 500mm high, with 54 steel tubes arranged across two panels and a black finish. Leporce lists it under its Rome range of horizontal designer column radiators.
