Description
Description
Heating a living room with one main radiator puts the focus on output, and the black Rome double radiator 600 x 1200 is rated at 2628 watts (8969 BTU) at dT70. Its 40 steel tubes sit in two rows over 1200mm of wall, at a height of 600mm.
In kilowatts that is just over 2.6kW. Heat loss calculators give a room's requirement in watts or BTU, so the two figures can be compared directly. The dT70 rating assumes hot water, though: a heat pump or a boiler set to a lower flow temperature will draw less from the same black column radiator.
