Description
The 50mm cement-coated insulation board from Warmup, 600 x 1250mm. It is made for laying underfloor heating over a cold concrete or ground-floor slab, where much of the heat would otherwise go downwards.
Its thermal resistance is 1.33 m²K/W, about six times that of the 10mm board. The cement coating gives tile adhesive a sound surface, and the board carries 30 tonnes/m², so a tiled floor on top stays solid.
