Britocean Chrome Shower Heads

Ceiling mounted overhead showers fill the examples on this page of Britocean chrome shower heads, which lists 22 in total. Since every one shares the same finish, the choice comes down to size and shape.

Sizes are written in more than one way. Some titles give a single figure, as with the 200mm, 250mm and 300mm Chrome Plated heads. Others give width by depth, such as the 200mmx98mm and the slim 160x70mm, and a few add a third figure, as in 200mmx200mmx7mm and 250mmx250mmx7mm. Read the dimensions in each specification so you compare like with like.

Choose the size against the shower tray or wet area underneath, leaving space for the glass screen or door. A larger overhead shower spreads its water over more of the floor, while a narrow head such as the 160x70mm keeps the spray tighter.

A ceiling mounted head needs its supply pipe brought through the ceiling to the exact spot where it will hang, so fix the position before the ceiling is boarded and plastered. The head also needs its own outlet on the shower valve. Chrome valves to run it are on Britocean chrome thermostatic shower valves, and square heads from Britocean and Jaquar are on square shower heads.
