1. Find out which cistern is, or will be, in the wall. Plates are made to operate particular cisterns.
2. The Artize model is pneumatic, which means it needs a cistern built for air operation rather than a mechanical push rod.
3. Measure the opening that the plate must cover.
4. Order the plate with the cistern if the wall is not yet built, so the installer knows how it will be actuated.
